nmonaco
Noticed since recent weight loss some wrinkled or sagging belly skin. At 57 I expect wrinkles but odd placement. Is this common? Any way to smooth them out other than gaining fat? Thanks Link to comment
Saul
Hi nmonaco! If you had a lot of visceral fat (which is all too common), and then lose a lot of weight QUICKLY, then you should expect wrinkled, sagging belly skin. It's a good thing! It means that you've lost a substantial part of your visceral fat. (There is a possible downside: If you have some bad things, such as fat-soluble pesticide residues, stored in your fat, then rapid weight loss might release more than want of the toxins all at once into your bloodstream. That's one of the reasons why gradual weight loss, rather than losing it all at once, is better -- assuming that your gradual increase in CR level gets you to the same point.) -- Saul Link to comment
nmonaco
Thank you! What are the symptoms of that pesticide effect? I have been feeling great except one night I felt extreme fatigue (last night) briefly that almost felt like being drugged. All better today tho Link to comment
Saul
I wouldn't worry about it. -- Saul Link to comment
