Lead/heavy metal contamination in spices/hot sauce?

I actually make my own hot sauce and I'm not concerned about lead/heavy metal contamination (from a manufacturing point of view at least), though I suppose theoretically some of the ingredients I use could be grown in contaminated soil. Spices are a pretty broad category, so I guess it would depend.
