Por curiosidad, mencionas que eras bajo en carbohidratos y ligeramente alto en proteínas, ¿incluiste proteína animal o fue exclusivamente vegetal? Digo esto porque quizás la menor digestibilidad de las proteínas vegetales podría haber influido en la pérdida de masa magra 🙂

I am referring to eating a nutrient-optimal normocaloric diet but doing periods of total fasting (water only), for 3 consecutive days or more throughout the year, to mimic the benefits of CR while avoiding the risks associated with CR.   4. I've seen this topic been discussed before, but I was wondering why are most of you vegans? Wouldn't it be more convenient to follow a high protein diet (lean protein + vegetables) that is highly satiating and that facilitates a caloric deficit? This way they would avoid the problems associated with fats and carbohydrates... and they could still continue eating a large amount of vegetables.
