How often is forum software updated? How can i see the forum's latest update?

Actually, this forum's software is quite ergonomic and advanced from a usability perspective. Not sure about security. But it works fine in modern browsers in Linux, Win, Android and Apple iPhones. I assume Tim C is still at the helm?

Do we know if regular backups are being taken? Want to be sure - I've seen sudden forum failures and we are as long form as can be

Unless Invision does regular backups as the service provider, they probably aren't getting done. @James Cain would be the person who could answer this question too.
