Judy Reneau
Lately I have been reading about calorie restriction releasing something to help immunity. The articles are sketchy but make me think about something that happened about 18 years ago. I had RA and Duputren’s Contracture develop around the same time. The RA lasted a year and was gone. Mr doctor said it was in remission. The Duputren’s started making my fingers curl and then stopped. I still have dents on my hand where the cords had been contracting. At that time I was well into doing CR correctly. It’s just recently that I’m thinking the CR might have done the cure. Might this have been possible? Quote Link to comment
Ron Put
I can't guess about your specific case, but I have been pondering if some of the beneficial effects of fasting/CR may be inflammation-related. Here are a couple of related articles I have come across:The inflammatory function of human IgA andEffects of Ramadan fasting on serum immunoglobulin G and M, and salivary immunoglobulin A concentrations Quote Link to comment
