Distorted Text Characters in CR List

Hello,

 

I should know this, but some characters of my messages to the CR list are being distorted when composed from my email. This appears to be the case with punctuation characters. How can I avoid this?

 

Also, is there any other way to post to the CR list directly and bypass email.

Regarding the distorted characters, what email software and version are you using?

 

There is no way to post to the list without email. At one point, we were considering something via the email list archives that would allow posting via the web:

 

http://arc.crsociety.org/index.php

 

As it is setup, the archives are one-way and only a repository.

I am using Windows Live Mail (latest version) in Win 7 64 bit. I've noticed this issue with other posters also
